North American Walnut End Grain Butcher Block

Cut, chop, and serve on a surface that only gets better with use — and won't shed microplastics into your food while doing it. This butcher block is crafted from American walnut in an end grain construction — meaning the wood fibers run vertically, so your knife edge meets the grain rather than cutting across it. The result is a board that's gentler on blades, more resistant to deep scarring, and self-healing over time.

No plastic, no synthetic coatings. Just solid walnut, finished with food-safe mineral oil and wax so it's ready to use from day one.

Care

  • Hand Wash Only - Do not soak. Dry immediately with a clean cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
  • Store With Care - Keep in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which can cause warping or splitting.
  • Oil Regularly - Apply a thin layer of Bee's Oil or food-grade mineral oil monthly or as needed. Let absorb overnight and wipe away any excess. Avoid seed or vegetable oils, which can go rancid and damage the surface.
  • Use & Rotate - Vary your cutting area for more even wear over time. Knife marks are a natural sign of use. Avoid abrasive tools or cleaners on the surface.
